1950’s Early Work
All of these works, which were damaged in the fire of 2014, are from before Norman went to the Royal College. He was a conscientious objector, and after spending a short time in Wormwood Scrubs (where he read A Pilgrims Progress) Norman was ordered to work on pig farm in Acton. These works are the result of a combination of the recent news about what the far right had done in Europe, and his recent experiences.
